Auto Skills UK is seeking a Service Advisor in Abingdon to join a respected automotive group. You will be the key link between customers and the workshop, booking services and keeping customers updated on progress.

The role is full-time and permanent with a competitive bonus scheme and benefits package. You will deliver excellent customer service, support invoicing and administration, and help ensure every vehicle visit runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and time-management ability.
• Proactive and professional approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Arranging service, maintenance and repair bookings.
• Acting as the main point of contact between customers and the workshop.
• Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicle.
• Explaining additional work and associated costs clearly.
• Liaising with Technicians, Workshop Control and the Parts Department.
• Ensuring work is scheduled efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Supporting invoicing, administration and wider aftersales processes.
• Delivering an excellent level of customer service throughout the vehicle journey.
