Job summary

Our client in the UK automotive sector is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their Aftersales team. The role offers a basic salary of £31,000–£34,000 DOE with a bonus of up to £6,500.

Working hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00am–1:00pm. Company car after 6 months, workplace pension and 28 days’ annual leave (30 after 2 years) are on offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Service Advisor.
• Aftersales experience is essential.
• Pinnacle DMS experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and administration skills.
• Confident dealing with customers face-to-face and on the phone.
• Ability to work in a busy workshop environment.
• Professional, positive and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and providing a professional and friendly service.
• Booking vehicles into the workshop and recording customer requirements.
• Managing customer expectations during the service/repair process.
• Liaising with Technicians and Workshop Control.
• Keeping customers updated on progress.
• Discussing additional work and obtaining authorisation where needed.
• Preparing and explaining invoices on completion.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and updating systems.
• Delivering excellent customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.

Our client, a busy and well-established automotive business, is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join their Aftersales team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and providing a professional and friendly service.
• Booking vehicles into the workshop and accurately recording customer requirements.
