Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a main dealership in Gatwick. The role requires automotive Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor experience, with excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to manage a busy workload.

Hours are 42 per week, Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm, plus Saturday mornings on a rota. Ongoing in-house training and career progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor experience – essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisation and ability to manage a busy workload.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Book vehicles in for MOTs, servicing and repairs.
• Manage telephone, online and face-to-face customer enquiries.
• Advise customers on warranty cover and relevant additional products.
• Coordinate service bookings with the workshop and Aftersales department.
• Keep customers updated on repair progress and completion times.
• Explain technical information clearly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate customer records and dealership booking systems.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor, Service Receptionist or Automotive Service Advisor to join an established main dealership in Gatwick. Applicants must have previous automotive Service Advisor experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the right to work in the UK. No specific formal qualification has been stipulated.

Location: Gatwick, West Sussex

Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday–Friday shifts between 8:00am–6:00pm, plus Saturday mornings on a rota
