Job summary

Pybus Recruitment is partnering with a leading automotive dealership in Crawley to recruit an experienced Service Advisor. You will be the main point of contact for customers and manage service bookings, if required upsell and provide expert vehicle care.

With a £32,000 basic salary plus bonus (OTE up to £38,000), you will work Monday–Friday with a Saturday rota, in a permanent, full-time role offering ongoing training and clear progression within a reputable dealer group.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor in automotive

Responsibilities

• Booking vehicles in for servicing, MOTs, repairs and maintenance
• Advise customers on warranty coverage and additional products/services
• Upsell relevant parts, accessories and aftersales products
• Coordinate with workshop teams to schedule work efficiently
• Manage high volume of customer enquiries face-to-face, by phone and online
• Keep customers updated on progress and estimated completion times
• Maintain accurate customer records in dealership systems
• Support Aftersales team to deliver outstanding service standards

The Role

As a Service Advisor, you will be the key point of contact for customers throughout their service journey, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from booking through to vehicle handover.

Key responsibilities include:

• Booking vehicles in for servicing, MOTs, repairs, and maintenance work
• Providing customers with advice regarding warranty coverage and additional products or services
• Promoting and upselling relevant parts, accessories, and aftersales products where appropriate
• Coordinating with workshop teams to efficiently schedule work based on workshop capacity
• Managing a high volume of customer enquiries both face-to-face, over the phone, and online
• Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicle repairs and expected completion times
• Maintaining accurate customer records and updating dealership systems
• Supporting the wider Aftersales team to deliver outstanding service standards

About You

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Senior Service Advisor, or similar Aftersales role within the automotive industry
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive and positive approach to customer service
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a busy team
