Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Advisor for a busy franchised car dealership in Crawley, West Sussex. You will be the main contact for customers during service or repair and coordinate bookings with the workshop.

Role requires strong communication and a customer-focused approach, with opportunities for upselling service plans. Working hours are Mon-Fri 8:00am-6:00pm, Saturdays on a rota basis, with a competitive basic salary and OTE up to £40,000.

• Experience as a Service Advisor in a motor trade or automotive aftersales environment.
• Previous customer-facing automotive experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide a professional point of contact during vehicle service or repair.
• Book vehicles into the workshop and record customer requirements accurately.
• Liaise with technicians for updates and progress reports.
• Prepare accurate estimates and explain recommended work clearly.
• Arrange collections and deliveries for a smooth experience.
• Maintain regular communication from booking to handover.
• Identify service plans and additional products where appropriate.
• Support the dealership in achieving high customer satisfaction.

• Basic salary of up to £30,000, with an achievable OTE of up to £40,000.
• Additional bonus potential linked to customer satisfaction and service plan upselling.
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, with Saturdays on a rota basis.

• Support the dealership in achieving excellent customer satisfaction results.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a motor trade, dealership or automotive aftersales environment.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing automotive role is essential.
• The successful Service Advisor will be confident discussing servicing, repairs and associated costs with customers.
• Strong communication, organisational and administrative skills.
• A professional, positive and customer-focused approach.
• The ability to manage a busy workload while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using dealership management systems would be advantageous.
• A full UK driving licence is preferred.
