Job summary

Pybus Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive dealership in Stoke-on-Trent for an experienced Senior Service Advisor to join a busy Aftersales team. You will be the main contact for customers throughout their service journey, ensuring an exceptional experience from booking to handover.

The role offers a base salary of £32,000 with a bonus and achievable OTE up to £38,000, plus ongoing training and clear progression opportunities within a successful dealership group.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive aftersales or service advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Book vehicles in for servicing, MOTs, repairs and maintenance.
• Provide customers with warranty and service/product advice.
• Upsell relevant parts, accessories and aftersales products where appropriate.
• Coordinate with workshop to schedule work based on capacity.
• Handle high volume of customer enquiries in person, on the phone and online.
• Keep customers updated on progress and ensure timely handover of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update dealership systems.
• Support Aftersales team to deliver high service standards.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6:00pm | Saturday rota, 8:30am - 12:30pm

The Role

As a Senior Service Advisor, you will be the key point of contact for customers throughout their service journey, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from booking through to vehicle handover.

Key responsibilities include:

• Booking vehicles in for servicing, MOTs, repairs, and maintenance work
  
• Providing customers with advice regarding warranty coverage and additional products or services
  
• Promoting and upselling relevant parts, accessories, and aftersales products where appropriate
  
• Coordinating with workshop teams to efficiently schedule work based on workshop capacity
  
• Managing a high volume of customer enquiries both face-to-face, over the phone, and online
  
• Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicle repairs and expected completion times
  
• Maintaining accurate customer records and updating dealership systems
  
• Supporting the wider Aftersales team to deliver outstanding service standards

Requirements

About You

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Senior Service Advisor, or similar Aftersales role within the automotive industry
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive and positive approach to customer service
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a busy team
