Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy automotive dealership. You will be the link between customers and the workshop, handling bookings, keeping customers informed, and coordinating with technicians to ensure high-quality repairs.

The role offers a £28,000-£30,000 basic salary plus good bonus opportunities and overtime, with Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm and occasional Saturday mornings in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor within an automotive environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and professional manner.
• Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy workshop.

Responsibilities

• Book vehicles into the workshop and manage customer appointments.
• Welcome customers and understand their requirements.
• Liaise with technicians regarding inspections and repairs.
• Prepare estimates and explain recommended work to customers.
• Keep customers updated on progress of their vehicle.
• Advise customers on additional work and sales opportunities.
• Handle customer queries professionally and resolve issues.
• Ensure paperwork and systems are accurate and up to date.
• Work with the wider team to keep the department running smoothly.
• Provide excellent customer service from booking to vehicle collection.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their busy and friendly team.

As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between customers and the workshop, ensuring every customer receives a professional and first-class experience. You'll be responsible for managing bookings, keeping customers updated throughout the repair process, and working closely with the technicians to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Booking vehicles into the workshop and managing customer appointments
• Welcoming customers and understanding their requirements

About You
