Location: Walton-on-Thames
Salary: £32,000 Basic + Bonus
Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:30pm + Saturday 8:00am-12:30pm on a rota

THE ROLE

As a Service Advisor, you'll be the key link between customers and the workshop, ensuring every customer receives a professional and efficient experience from initial contact through to vehicle collection.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and assisting customers
• Managing customer enquiries by phone and in person
• Booking vehicles into the workshop
• Completing vehicle health checks
• Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
• Liaising closely with technicians and workshop colleagues
• Identifying additional work and communicating recommendations to customers
• Processing orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensuring customer requirements are dealt with promptly
• Maintaining accurate administrative records
• Providing excellent customer service throughout the entire process
• Working towards department targets and productivity requirements
• Supporting the wider aftersales team when required

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive customer-facing role
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Good knowledge of computer systems
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
• A confident and professional manner
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A proactive approach to customer service
• A full UK driving licence would be advantageous

Automotive/dealership experience is preferred, particularly where you've worked closely with workshop teams and customers, but the key requirement is the ability to deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
