Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on operational oversight and mentoring of junior team members.
  • Safe and effective materials handling in line with ADSL procedures.
  • Daily coordination of Storekeepers under the direction of the RQMS (Unit).
  • Correct use of stores processes for goods in / out, labelling, and location tracking.
  • Enforcement of compliance policies and ADSL QHSE policies and procedures.

Your Role

You will support the Stores Manager in delivering an efficient, accurate, and compliant sports stores service by leading the day-to-day activities of Storekeepers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Hands‑on operational oversight and mentoring of junior team members
  • Safe and effective materials handling in line with ADSL procedures
  • Daily coordination of Storekeepers under the direction of the RQMS (Unit)
  • Correct use of stores processes for goods in / out, labelling, and location tracking
  • Enforcement of compliance policies and ADSL QHSE policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) and manual handling training (or willingness to undertake)

Experience

  • Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or store role is essential, with strong knowledge of stock handling and materials movement
  • Awareness of workplace safety (COSHH, manual handling, etc) and ability to follow structured processes and maintain accurate records

Skills

  • Proactive and reliable, strong attention to detail
  • Confidence in prioritising tasks whilst supporting junior team members
  • Team‑oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills

Driving Licence

  • Full UK valid driving licence required
