Job summary

Hippo is a digital service design consultancy seeking a Senior Consultant to lead user-centred design initiatives and advocate best practices across client projects. You will guide teams, shape service proposals, and contribute to a culture that emphasises user needs and measurable impact.

The role involves collaborating with agile, multidisciplinary teams, running workshops, and translating complex requirements into coherent service propositions across digital and non-digital touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Experience in user-centred design and leading teams.
• Ability to design end-to-end service journeys and multi-channel experiences.
• Strong consultancy skills with client-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Propose ideas that solve problems creatively and shape them into coherent solutions centered on user needs.
• Design end-to-end user journeys that create optimal user experiences.
• Use insights from user research and metrics to identify pain points and improve the design.
• Explore approaches to solve user problems and ensure product flow.
• Produce user journeys, sitemaps, navigation schema, and annotated wireframes.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback.
• Engage with agile, multidisciplinary teams with a user-centred design process.
• Run workshops with team and stakeholders.
• Share best practice across Hippo design community to maintain high standards.
• Advocate for design internally and externally to drive creative culture.
• Map service ecosystems and define clear service propositions.
• Tackle systemic problems beyond the digital interface.
