Hippo Digital is seeking a senior consultant in user research to shape research that informs service design. You’ll design and run studies, collaborate with designers, product owners and developers, and translate findings into practical client recommendations.

You’ll lead people and teams, promote user‑centred approaches, and help clients grow through evidence‑based design, with opportunities to develop as a leader at Hippo.

Qualifications

• Expertise in user research methodologies across environments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary Agile teams.
• Experience championing user‑centred design / service design.
• Proven ability to mentor other researchers.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on solving complex problems with research and Agile methods.
• Lead multidisciplinary Agile teams to design user‑centred services.
• Advocate inclusive approaches within user research.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders while challenging ideas.
• Line manage and mentor user researchers.
• Support recruitment, events, blog writing and new business.
• Promote Hippo’s people‑centred design offering internally and externally.
