A regional healthcare provider is looking for a Senior Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner to join their new Kent and Medway Orthopaedic Centre team at Maidstone Hospital. This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care while supervising junior staff. Candidates should be newly qualified ODPs or development practitioners with relevant experience. The position offers flexible work arrangements and a comprehensive benefits package including annual leave and NHS pension schemes.
The Senior Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner will form part of the new Kent and Medway Orthopaedic Centre team at Maidstone Hospital. The Centre, which will open later this year, will provide a state‑of‑the‑art open‑plan laminar flow theatre suite and a 14‑bed inpatient ward alongside a 10‑bed day‑case ward. The role supports the Trust’s plan to deliver more surgical capacity across Kent and Medway and to reduce patient waiting times.
We will consider newly qualified ODPs and development practitioners working with Anaesthetics. Successful applicants must be prepared to pass a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check at Enhanced level and to complete the Trust’s corporate induction and 2‑week induction programme.
• This role is currently being advertised only to staff members who are currently working within the Kent and Medway Integrated Care System.
• The position is flexible‑working friendly; we are willing to explore arrangements that suit you, our patients and the Trust.
• The advert closes on Tuesday 30 Dec 2025.
