Senior TechOps / DevOps Engineer

IntaPeople are working with a disruptive financial services organisation who have been recognised as having one of the most exciting upcoming products in Europe. We are currently looking for a Senior TechOps / DevOps Engineer who has a strong focus on AWS Infrastructure.

Due to substantial growth in the US market, you’ll join the team and work closely with multiple Cloud & Software Engineers to build and maintain their modern technology platform for their target market globally.

Responsibilities (at a glance)
  • Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt while driving standards for management and architecture.
  • Architect and maintain a comprehensive monitoring stack whilst configuring Prometheus for metrics, visualise data in Grafana, and standardise distributed tracing across services using tools such as OpenTelemetry.
  • Implement and manage traffic management strategies using AWS to ensure performance standard for their global client base.
  • Using Kubernetes (EKS) to manage and scale clusters.
  • Build and deploy pipelines using GitHub Actions and Octopus Deploy, moving them towards continuous delivery.
  • Using HashiCorp for security and monitoring standards required within their industry.
Essential Requirements
  • Strong professional experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, EKS, RDS, IAM).
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Prometheus (PromQL) and Grafana (understanding the difference between logging, metrics, and tracing).
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform and specifically Terragrunt for managing complex environments.
  • Extensive experience managing container orchestration with Kubernetes clusters.
  • Proven experience building pipelines (CI / CD) using GitHub CI or Octopus Deploy.
  • Ability to read and debug code in at least one of their core languages: JavaScript, Golang, Node.js or PHP.
