Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Engineer to support client environments and collaborate across helpdesk and field teams. You will combine technical troubleshooting with hands-on infrastructure work at customer sites and remote locations.

You will manage incidents, perform installations, and ensure service delivery within SLAs while maintaining documentation and proactive communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar IT position.
• Proven knowledge of Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards and their implementation.
• MS 365 including Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
• Intune, RMM solutions and telephone platforms.
• Network infrastructure, routers, switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs and firewalls.
• Working with external service providers.
• Following industry standards and best practices.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 with GPO and security policies.
• Azure administration and implementation.
• Windows 10/11 and Mac environments.
• Client builds, imaging and deployment.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with responsive and professional technical assistance.
• Attend customer sites to resolve issues, install and maintain systems.
• Manage incidents and service requests via the Service Desk.
• Keep customers informed and meet SLA requirements.
• Escalate high-priority issues to management.
• Prioritise workload to hit business objectives.
• Monitor customer systems to ensure standards.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware/software.
• Document technical activity and unresolved work.
• Handle urgent incidents both remotely and on-site.
