Job summary

Integral Cooling Technologies is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for its Industrial Refrigeration division in Leeds. You will own major bids from concept through to award, shaping cost-efficient, compliant solutions and presenting winning tenders to clients and stakeholders.

You will apply your UK refrigeration background to manage complex, high-value schemes, coordinate across design, estimating, procurement, delivery and finance teams, and travel nationally as required.

Qualifications

Substantial experience in UK industrial refrigeration.
Proven bid leadership in £500k–£6m schemes.
Experience leading sales from concept to tender and award.
Knowledge of BS EN 378 and related safety/regulatory standards.
Ammonia plant knowledge and two-stage systems.
Ability to develop concept designs and read P&IDs/schematics.
Experience with food manufacturing, cold storage and logistics.
Ability to build and defend a detailed cost model and risk clauses.
Experience managing at least one direct bid resource.
Strong written and presentation skills; proficient with MS Office and CRM.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

Build and qualify the pipeline; develop senior relationships with clients and consultants.
Interrogate briefs and convert to practical, cost-efficient concepts.
Own the tender process: cost model, exclusions, and clarifications.
Lead bid governance and ensure compliance at bid stages.
Coordinate design, estimating, procurement, delivery and finance.
Coach and develop bid support resources; maintain bid quality.
Hand over to Contracts/PM team on award and defend sold scope.
