Job summary

Integral Cooling Technologies in the UK is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead major industrial refrigeration bids from initial client dialogue through to a fully compliant tender. You will own the bid, shape practical, cost-efficient solutions, and present submissions that win work with healthy margins.

This is a technical sales role focused on delivering end-to-end bid leadership across £500k–£6m schemes in food manufacturing, cold storage, logistics and process sectors; expect about 3–8

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in UK industrial refrigeration and bidding.
• Proven track record of leading bids worth £500k–£6m.
• Experience taking briefs from concept design through tender award.
• Strong knowledge of BS EN 378, PED, DSEAR and F‑Gas.
• Ability to develop concept designs and cost models.
• Leadership of bid teams and coordination across design, estimating, procurement and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and qualify the pipeline. Develop senior relationships with end users, consultants, main contractors and framework holders.
• Turn briefs into solutions by interrogating specifications and developing concept schemes with our Industrial Design Manager.
• Own the tender: run the bid programme, build a cost model, secure pricing and write scopes and exclusions.
• Get compliance right at bid stage, ensuring all offers price in relevant standards and regulations.
• Lead across the business, coordinating design, estimating, procurement, delivery, finance and legal.
• Lead bid support, coaching a Bid/Estimating colleague while owning lead bid responsibility.
• Hand over to Contracts/Project Management on award and stay accountable for sold scope.
