Senior Support Worker – Make Everyday Matter

Location : Didcot, Oxfordshire

Salary : £29,367 per annum (£15.06 per hour) plus benefits

Hours : 7.00 am – 3.00 pm, 2.00 pm – 10.00 pm (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis). The shifts may vary due to the needs of the people we support.

Contract : Full time, Permanent

What You’ll Need
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
  • You’ll have a QCF in Health & Social Care level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with willingness to undertake a level 3 in Health & Social Care and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported / residential living.
  • Previous experience in a care / support setting
  • A valid manual UK driving licence (Optional)
  • The legal right to live and work in the UK

  • Ability to lead by example, being professional, patient and calm under pressure - Supporting daily routines – from morning support to bedtime
  • You’ll supervise daily outputs and assist the deputy manager in managing staff performance, development and appraisals
  • Ensure the people, you will assist and their families, are treated with respect, dignity, and equality
