A leading social care provider is seeking a Senior Support Worker in Clapham. You will empower adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs to lead fulfilling lives. Senior Support Worker
Location: Clapham, Bedford
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £13.71 per hour

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll support adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. You’ll provide both practical and emotional care while helping individuals lead as independent and fulfilling lives as possible.
Support the daily implementation of individual care and support plans.
Lead by example and mentor junior team members.
Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
Encourage service users to participate in social and community activities.
Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Promote independence, dignity, and choice for every individual.
Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and quality care.
Qualified with NVQ Level 3 / Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willing to work towards it).
Experienced in supporting adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, and / or mental health needs.
Calm under pressure, resilient, and adaptable.
Confident working both independently and as part of a team.
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Passionate about supporting vulnerable adults and enabling positive change.
