A community service organization in Leatherhead seeks a dedicated manager for its youth substance misuse service for a 12-month fixed-term role. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality service delivery and manage a supportive team, promoting the welfare of young people aged 11 to 25. Essential qualifications include NVQ3 in Health & Social Care. The position offers a competitive salary of £32,620, with opportunities for flexible working.

Young People and Families. Our Young People and Families (YPF) hub provides early intervention, targeted and specialist support services to those in crisis, leaving care, missing from home or with substance misuse or mental health problems. Our services support people no matter what their situation – and have demonstrated a high success rate.
This is a 12-month fixed term post to cover maternity leave till 31/01/2027, and/or it could be an excellent secondment opportunity for current Catch22 senior practitioners who would like to develop their experience and knowledge within another Catch22 service.
This exciting role has responsibility for contributing to the strategic development, and operational management, of Catch22 Surrey Young People's Substance Use Service (SYPSUS). This is a county‑wide specialist treatment service, offering; one-to-one support to young people and their families, a 24‑hour helpline, counselling, and pharmacological support, as part of a tailored recovery approach for young people aged 11 to 25‑years‑old.

This post will involve travel across the country, and occasional evening and weekend working.
Salary: £32,620
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week
Contract: 12 months Fixed-term
Flexibility: Opportunities for flexible homeworking available (main office is in Leatherhead)
This role requires an up to date driving licence, access to a vehicle, MOT and business insurance. You may be required to work out of hours, including evenings and weekends where necessary, in addition to travel around Surrey on a daily basis, and occasional travel around the UK. Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check required.
