Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to design and assess civil structures related to water infrastructure. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage projects to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate has a degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in structural design within the UK water or infrastructure sector.
• Familiarity with reinforced concrete, steelwork, and buried structures.
• Understanding of relevant standards: Eurocodes, BS EN, and Water Industry design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural designs for water-related assets including pumping stations and tanks.
• Collaborate with Senior Civil Engineers to align structural design.
• Coordinate with contractors to provide buildable and efficient solutions.
