Senior Structural Engineer
Manchester City Centre
£45,000 - £55,000

A major nationwide multi‑disciplinary engineering consultancy are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with between 7‑10 years' design experience to join their team in Manchester City Centre.

The company is a well‑known and much revered practice with 14 offices and 700 employees across the UK and almost 100 staff based in Manchester. The Civil and Structural team is 25 strong and you will be joining a cohort of 14 Structural Engineers of varying expertise with support at all levels. They are well‑known for a great team ethic and a solid work/life balance and are looking for someone with 5‑10 years' experience.

Qualifications

• Experience of designing using the main structural materials
• A track record of having worked on a variety of building structures projects
• A highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills
• A strong background in software analysis and a high level of technical skills. Knowledge of Tekla Structural Designer would be beneficial
• A current driving licence and willingness to travel to visit sites
• Good knowledge of the Eurocode Standards
