A leading global law firm is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to lead strategic procurement sourcing projects, particularly in Technology and Real Estate. This role involves managing complex global procurement initiatives and engaging with stakeholders across various offices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement best practices and demonstrate experience in negotiating with suppliers. To lead strategic Procurement sourcing projects end to end categories include Technology Real Estate and Consultancy.
This is a global role that will require engagement with stakeholders across a number of offices. They will work day-to-day with the procurement team risk teams business stakeholders fee earners up to Exec Director level.
The Senior Sourcing Manager will be responsible for key relationships and Global areas of spend in particular:
To act as a procurement subject matter expert across their area.
To collaborate with the Procurement team and their stakeholders.
To negotiate commercial and contract terms with suppliers.
Support initiatives to ensure growing compliance and adherence to the Firms global procurement policies.
To contribute as a Procurement team member and help drive the Procurement value proposition.
As a member of the wider Procurement team the Senior Sourcing Manager is expected to run and manage RFPs mark up contracts negotiate with suppliers manage internal stakeholders and work as part of a team. The will involve presenting and utilising your influencing skills which will be paramount in order to articulate complex projects to your stakeholders. With agreement up to Executive Director level.
