About the role

We’re looking for an experienced customer‑facing Solutions Architect who loves helping people solve problems and wants to be a major factor in the success of our largest enterprise customers. This position is for someone with a strong technical aptitude, extensive customer‑facing experience, and the ability to oversee multiple engagements.

What you’ll be doing
  • Be a strategic technical counterpart to the Success team at Monte Monte Carlo.
  • Define project scope based on the customers' needs and requirements, guide clear outcomes, and communicate technical and value propositions.
  • Deliver implementations of Monte Monte Carlo, including on complicated data lake environments.

  • Deliver training and enablement on advanced technical concepts to technical customers.
  • Create collateral documentation and other technical materials as needed.
  • Advocate on behalf of customers cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales.
  • Analyze customer trends and identify opportunities to drive product consumption growth.
We’re excited about you because you have
  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical customer‑facing role, preferably within the data technology space.
  • Finding creative solutions to unlock the value of our product.
  • Learn our customers' data infrastructure so you can be prescriptive on how they should implement Monte Carlo.
  • A firm understanding of cloud data warehousing, data lakes, ETL concepts and workflows, BI solutions, SQL, APIs; networking experience a plus.
  • Experience in use‑case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solutions to multiple audiences.
  • Worked with enterprise customers before and managed multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Been part of a high-performing team, holding ourselves to a high bar and setting ambitious goals.
  • Experience identifying and improving internal and customer‑facing processes.
  • Previously worked in a startup environment, with a high degree of ownership and appetite for ambiguity.
  • Relentless desire to solve customer problems and chase down answers.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites up to 25% of the time.
