Job summary

Contentful is seeking a Solution Engineer to partner with sales teams across EMEA, conducting architectural discovery, designing solutions, and validating technical fit. The role involves travel up to 50% and close collaboration with customers and internal teams to demonstrate how Contentful integrates with a prospect’s stack.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience as a Sales/Solution Engineer/Architect or 5–10 years experience as a developer working on digital experience delivery using marketing tech platforms focused on CMS, Commerce, Personalisation, etc.
• Fluency in English; other European languages preferred.
• Strong presentation skills to convey business and technical concepts to marketing and technical personas.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to support EMEA customers.
• Show how Contentful compares to legacy technologies and what’s possible.
• Validate requirements against the platform and mitigate risks.
• Create product demonstrations and assist with technical evaluations.
• Communicate needs and feedback to product, marketing, and sales.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success to ensure smooth implementation.
