Job description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on safety-critical software and embedded systems for medical and consumer health products.

Contract- £500 per day

Key Requirements:
  • Strong C/C++ skills for embedded development
  • Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS environments
  • Knowledge of EN 62034 and ISO 14971 standards for medical software
  • Understanding of wired/wireless communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI, Bluetooth LE)
  • Ability to write clear, structured documentation and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
Desirable:
  • Experience with Qt GUI development
  • Familiarity with secure coding standards or IEC (phone number removed)
  • Integration with hospital/healthcare systems (DICOM, HL7, EHRs)
  • Hands-on experience with embedded systems (e.g., STM32, CubeMX)
  • Experience with testing frameworks for embedded software
