We are offering an excellent locum opportunity for a Senior Social Work Practitioner to join our Safeguarding Team in Redcar, earning £31.74 per hour. Our Safeguarding Team is seeking two experienced children’s social workers to cover maternity leave within our locality social work teams, offering a full-time position brimming with professional growth opportunities. What you will do:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of need in accordance with national guidance, legislation, Social Work England practice standards, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Design and implement plans to support children’s assessed needs and fulfil the role of the allocated worker.
  • Partner with children, families, and carers to assess, plan, and review services.
  • Collaborate with local authority departments and other statutory, voluntary, and independent agencies.
  • Maintain high professional standards and practices ensuring decisions are made consistent with your experience and the expectations of the role.
  • Identify safeguarding situations and report through established processes to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
