Richmond Motor Group is seeking a Senior Service Advisor in the United Kingdom to join a busy, family-run dealership group. You will be the primary contact for service customers, coordinating with workshop teams and ensuring clear communication on work required and approvals.

The role offers training, progression opportunities and a competitive benefits package in a dynamic automotive environment. Typical hours are Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays on rota.

Qualifications

• Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of the motor trade and driving licence requirements.
• Able to work well in a team.

Responsabilités

• Being the point of contact for customers requiring servicing or repair to their vehicles.
• Manage the flow of information between the workshop, the rest of the business and the customer.
• Handle customer enquiries and queries promptly and efficiently; confirm work to be carried out.
• Maintain the service department loading system in line with workshop capacity.
• Oversee loan vehicle handover and administration; explain work to customers for consent.
• Supervise and coach service advisors; manage workloads.
• Collaborate with workshop controller and parts manager.
• Report to the Aftersales Manager.

Responsibilities

• Being the point of contact for customers requiring servicing or repair to their vehicles.
• Manage the flow of information between the workshop, the rest of the business and the customer. ·
• To handle customer enquiries and queries promptly and efficiently. · Qualify service needs and establish understanding and an agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out. ·
• Accurately maintain the service department loading system in line with workshop capacity. ·
• Manage the handover and administration of loan vehicles. Explain the work carried out on vehicle ensuring customers full understanding and authorisation.
• Overseeing the service advisors, coaching and managing their workloads
• Working directly with the workshop controller and parts manager
• Reporting directly to the aftersales manager

Skills Required

• Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT
• Excellent organisational skills, and work well under pressure
• Knowledge of the motor trade
• Good team player
• Experience with Pinnacle or another dealer management system (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £38,000.00 per year

Hours: Mon to Fri 8am to 6pm alternative Saturdays on rota
