Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd, on behalf of a Gloucester-based family-run automotive dealership, is seeking an experienced Senior Service Advisor to join their team. You will support the Aftersales Manager, mentor a small service team and ensure exemplary customer service.

The role offers a basic salary up to £33,000 with a potential OTE around £38,000, 30 days’ holiday, training, pension benefits and staff discounts. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:00-17:30 plus one in four Saturdays.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Service Advisor to join their multi-franchise-approved dealership in Gloucester, Gloucestershire.

This Senior Service Advisor position offers an excellent opportunity to join a family-run automotive business with more than 100 years of trading history.

The successful Senior Service Advisor will support the Aftersales Manager, help oversee a small team and deliver exceptional customer service.

Basic salary of up to £33,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Performance-related bonus scheme with on-target earnings of approximately £38,000. - 30 days’ annual leave, including bank holidays.

Duties

• The Senior Service Advisor will act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring all interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.
• Support the Aftersales Manager with the supervision, mentoring and motivation of the service team.
• Drive service profitability through effective communication, accurate documentation and proactive upselling.
• Liaise with workshop, parts and sales departments to ensure efficient internal processes.
• Maintain high standards throughout the customer journey and support departmental targets.
• Communicate with manufacturers regarding warranty authorisations and repairs.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Senior Service Advisor, Service Advisor or in a similar senior customer service role within an automotive dealership or garage.
• Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.
• A professional approach and commitment to achieving complete customer satisfaction.
• IT proficiency; experience using the Autoview dealer management system would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Live in Gloucester or within a reasonable commuting distance.
