Job summary

Immunocore is seeking a Senior Scientist I in Characterisation for its CMC team in Oxford. You will develop HPLC-based peptide mapping and mass spectrometry methods to characterise recombinant proteins and antibodies.

The role includes analyzing glycosylation patterns and supporting impurity characterisation in biotech products. You will work with both microbial and mammalian expressed proteins, contribute to stability studies, and share insights with cross-functional teams within a vibrant

Qualifications

• Experience in development of HPLC-based peptide mapping methods.
• Glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Bench-based biopharmaceutical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop peptide mapping and mass spectrometry characterisation methods.
• Characterise proteins expressed in microbial and mammalian systems.
• Support impurity characterisation of drug substances and products.
• Design stability and comparability studies for biologics.
• Mentor colleagues and present findings to stakeholders.
