Immunocore Ltd. is seeking a Senior Scientist I in Characterisation for CMC activities at its Oxford Immunocore site. The role focuses on developing and applying peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and mass spectrometry to characterise biologics, ensuring product quality and process understanding.

You will support impurity characterisation, PTMs, and stability studies within a collaborative biopharma environment. Essential experience includes peptide mapping, glycosylation analysis, and mass spectrometry

Qualifications

Experience in development of peptide mapping methods.
Mass spectrometric characterization of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
Glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
Characterisation of proteins expressed in microbial and mammalian systems.
Understanding of post-translational modifications in biological systems.
Bench-based biopharmaceutical laboratory experience.

Responsabilités

Characterise biopharmaceuticals using peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and mass spectrometry.
Support impurity characterisation and identification of drug substance/product.
Contribute to development of characterization methods for ImmTAX and other products.
Design and perform biochemical characterization and stability studies of biologics.
Prepare study protocols and reports; present findings to teams and partners.
Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure proper data management.
