Immunocore seeks a Senior Scientist I - Characterisation in Oxford to advance characterisation methods for biopharmaceuticals, including peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and intact mass analysis. You will contribute to drug substance/product impurity characterisation and process development, author protocols, and mentor colleagues as needed.

Competenze

• Experience in HPLC-based peptide mapping and MS characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independent testing and coordination of extensive protein biomolecule work.
• Characterisation of proteins expressed in microbial and mammalian systems.
• Understanding of post-translational modifications in biological systems.
• Bench-based biopharmaceutical laboratory experience.

Mansioni

• Develop and apply HPLC-based peptide mapping and MS methods for product characterisation.
• Characterise protein products and impurity profiles.
• Coordinate testing of protein biomolecules across projects.
• Contribute to development of characterisation methods for ImmTAX and related products.
• Design and perform biochemical characterisation and stability studies.
