Immunocore is seeking a Senior Scientist I - Characterisation to join the CMC team in Oxford. You will contribute to development of analytical characterisation methods for biopharmaceutical products, including peptide mapping by LC-MS/MS and intact mass analysis, supporting drug substance and drug product impurity characterisation.

Qualificações

• Experience in development of HPLC-based peptide mapping methods and MS characterisation.
• Experience of glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.
• Characterisation of proteins expressed in microbial and mammalian systems.
• Understanding of expected post-translational modifications.
• Bench-based biopharmaceutical laboratory experience.
• Expert in electrophoretic, chromatographic or mass spectrometry techniques.
• Experience in assay development.
• Familiar with GMP principles.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and characterise methods for peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS) and intact mass analysis.
• Support impurity characterisation of drug substance and product.
• Lead testing and contribute to method development.
• Present research findings to internal and external audiences.
• Ensure records are properly maintained and lab equipment used efficiently.
