Job summary

Immunocore invites applications for a Senior Scientist I - Characterisation to join our CMC team in Oxford. The role focuses on developing and applying peptide mapping (LC-MS/MS), intact mass analysis, and glycosylation analyses to characterise biopharmaceuticals and to support drug substance and drug product impurity characterisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in development of HPLC-based peptide mapping methods and mass spectrometric characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Experience of glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Bench-based biopharmaceutical laboratory environment; expert in electrophoretic, chromatographic or mass spectrometry techniques.

Responsibilities

• Characterise proteins and impurities for drug substance/product.
• Perform glycosylation and PTM analyses on biopharmaceuticals.
• Develop characterisation methods for ImmTAX and related products (peptide mapping by LC-MS/MS, intact mass analysis).
• Design and execute biochemical characterisation, stability studies and comparability assessments.
