Job summary

Immunocore is seeking a Senior Scientist I - Characterisation within the CMC Oxford team. The role focuses on biochemical characterisation, mass spectrometry, and development of characterisation methods for biopharmaceutical products, including ImmTAX molecules.

The candidate will design and perform experiments, generate data for reports, and contribute to cross-functional projects while adhering to EHS policies. Immunocore champions STRIDE and inclusive collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in development of HPLC-based peptide mapping methods and mass spectrometric characterization of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Experience of glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.

Responsibilities

• Characterise proteins and biopharmaceuticals using LC-MS/MS and related methods.
• Develop characterisation methods for ImmTAX and other products.
• Prepare and present study protocols and reports.
