A leading healthcare institution in Hull is looking for a Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to join their diverse team in an acute teaching Trust. The role involves delivering evidence-based assessments and treatments in the Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Service, while also adapting to a dynamic environment. Hull University Teaching Hospitals are seeking a Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to join our diverse team of allied health professionals in a large busy acute teaching Trust that is a vascular and Trauma centre. You will deliver the assessment and treatment of patients presenting within the Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Service, delivering evidence based interventions to facilitate recovery, promote well-being, self-management and maximise independent functioning as far as reasonably possible in all areas of life.
We are seeking people who can adapt to a changing environment and work well in a team. You will be an active member of the multidisciplinary team and build social networks, working in partnership with other agencies to identify and address immediate needs.
Main duties include a rotation offering experience in Elective Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Outpatients (including Gym), Virtual Fracture Clinic, Hands and Plastics, Rheumatology, Occupational Health, vestibular and First Contact Practitioner Service. The post would suit a Band 5 physiotherapist who has completed core rotations and feels ready for the challenge of the senior rotational position.
The post holder will be self-motivated and capable of assessments in an effective and timely manner in a busy environment. Confidence in enabling patients in self-management and personalised care. Support will be provided to enhance operational management skills; the post holder will contribute to service planning, development and teaching, and will be a role model for their team, delivering high-quality care and motivating others.
There will be a requirement to support a 7 day rota and an on-call rota. The successful candidate will be fully supported in CPD programmes.
