Job description

ClearBank is a place where you can do things differently and challenge the status quo. We will give you a high level of autonomy and transparency, and we trust you to make the right decisions for the bank. This is Where You Can have impact from day one. If that excites you, how about joining our team as a Senior Reward Analyst? As a key member of the HR team, your role will include:

Responsibilities
  • Being a subject matter expert on reward matters within the HR team, across cash compensation, equity and benefits.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of our reward strategy and philosophy, enabling our ability to continue to attract, retain and motivate talent.
  • Being a strategic partner to the HR team and business leaders on reward matters.
  • Leading business‑as‑usual reward activity including benchmarking and our annual review processes and annual benefits renewal.
  • Supporting the design and delivery of incentive and equity‑based programmes for the bank, with ownership of equity administration via our third‑party vendor.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of efficiency and automation in reward activity enabling us to scale with the business while reflecting our employer value proposition, with a lead role in embedding the implementation of our compensation management via Dayforce our HRIS system.
  • Supporting communications and engagement with our people on reward related matters and supporting colleague engagement sessions to bring more transparency to our reward arrangements.
  • Supporting the Head of Reward and Chief People Officer with reward governance activities, including drafting papers for remuneration committees and senior executives.
  • Leading the development and implementation of our benefit strategy, ensuring the offering is fit for purpose and vendor & cost management.
  • Supporting the delivery of reward disclosures and reporting (internal and external) for the bank.
  • Managing small to medium‑sized projects and initiatives in line with strategic priorities (e.g. the implementation of a levelling framework and associated changes in our reward governance and management practices).
  • Focusing on solutions and positive outcomes, thinking radically and responsibly to find the best result for our customers, colleagues and the bank.
  • Actively seeking feedback from others to drive your growth and development, always assuming positive intent and developing strong, trusting relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Striving for the highest quality, recognising that done is better than perfect; welcoming a challenge and learning as you go while iterating.
  • Placing the individual before the group – ‘I’ before ‘we’ is not in your vocabulary.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working in a reward function in a regulated bank and/or fintech.
  • The ability to think strategically about the reward strategy and shape the future of how we operate with a bias to action and a hands‑on approach.
  • Sound executive reward experience, including managing equity / share programmes.
  • Ability to distil complex information into concise updates and reports.
  • Experience within a fast‑paced environment, ideally in a scale‑up business.
  • Delivering quality commercial outcomes with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills, numeracy and commercial acumen.
  • Adaptability, resiliency and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver at pace and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.
Hiring Process
  • Application: a member of our talent acquisition team will review your application against the key requirements for the role and let you know within two weeks whether you’re moving forward to the next stage.
