A well-established therapeutic care provider in Buxton is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to impact the lives of young people aged 8 to 17. Ideal candidates will hold a Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare, have at least a year of experience in a residential role, and possess a manual driving license. Qualifications

Senior Residential Support Worker | SK23 & SK17 (10 mins apart) | Full Time or Part Time | £34,000 – £39,000 per annum (pro rata)

What will your role look like?

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in the day‑to‑day running of the home and in shaping a stable, nurturing environment for young people aged 8 to 17. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing therapeutic care, independence skills, and educational support
  • Guiding and supporting the wider staff team
  • Playing an active role in care planning and ensuring high‑quality practice
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with young people
  • Promoting emotional, social, and behavioural development

You’ll work within our therapeutic framework overseen by a Clinical Psychologist and supported by a specialist team, with all staff trained in PACE and PPR.
