You'll be part of a busy property department, playing a key role in the team's continued success. With a supportive environment and clear opportunities for growth, this role offers both challenge and reward in equal measure. Due to a retirement in the team you will take over an active caseload, and this position would suit an Associate or Senior Associate level individual.

Position Overview

You’ll take ownership of your own residential conveyancing caseload, handling matters from instruction through to completion. The work is varied and stimulating, ranging from standard sales and purchases to more technical matters such as lease extensions, re‑mortgages, and trust‑related transactions. While you’ll enjoy a high degree of autonomy, this is also a collaborative role, offering the chance to support and mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the ongoing development of the department.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a full caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, lease extensions, re‑mortgages, and transfers of equity
  • Advise on trust‑related matters where they intersect with property work
  • Deliver a high standard of client care, ensuring strong and lasting client relationships
  • Mentor and support junior members of the team, contributing to their training and development
  • Play an active role in networking and business development to promote the team and wider firm
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in independently managing a broad conveyancing caseload
  • Strong technical understanding of residential property law and procedure
  • Confident communicator with excellent client care and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable approach to work
  • Willingness to get involved in business development and represent the firm externally

  • Life insurance and access to comprehensive wellbeing support
  • Enhanced family leave policies
  • Company sick pay scheme
  • Cycle to work scheme and other lifestyle benefits
