Senior Relationship Manager – Invoice Finance

Senior Relationship Manager – Invoice Finance

Our client, a successful and well established International Bank, requires an experienced Relationship Manager to join their team in the Midlands.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of larger, more complex Invoice Finance & ABL clients, ensuring that the right balance of high-quality customer service and robust risk monitoring is maintained at all times. You will conduct regular client visits and field surveys of new prospects and when necessary, protect the company commitments by appropriate risk management.

Working with your origination colleagues, you will have a role in structuring larger and more complex transactions, assisting with client negotiations and presentations to Credit Committee as appropriate.

In addition you will contribute to the overall advancement of the company, including product development, risk management and assisting with training and development of junior colleagues where required.

Key Requirements:

• Understanding of commerce and finance and ability to liaise with finance professionals on deal structuring.
• Relationship builder with customer focused attitude and strong communication skills.
• Risk Management in Invoice Finance and Asset Based Lending.
• On site audit and survey skills.
• Happy to travel frequently in the UK.
• Has a good understanding of the Asset Based Lending market and technical knowledge of products.
• Proficient in use of IT systems in the Invoice Finance / Asset Based Lending industry.
• Has strong analytical skills and is able to understand complex financial and legal documents.
• Has a good general commercial understanding of business and the economy and is confident to hold broad discussions with Managing Directors and Finance Directors of clients and prospects.
