Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Assessor with experience in manufacturing coke oven products. This contract role involves remote work with UK coverage. As an external Technical Assessor, you will play a crucial role in UKAS assessments, providing expertise in Coke and Refinery sectors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing manufacturing processes of coke oven products, coke, semi-coke, pitch, oven gas, crude coal, and lignite tars.
  • Understanding environmental impacts related to refining and coke production.
  • Evaluating production of motor fuels, refinery gases, and petrochemical products.
  • Gaining on-site experience in carbonisation, distillation, mineral oil production, coke oven processes, and related standards and legislation.
