A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join their integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP Ford. This part-time role involves providing clinical support, conducting psychological assessments, and delivering trauma-informed interventions to a diverse patient population. Candidates must hold full HCPC registration and have experience in Clinical Psychology, especially with trauma patients. We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP Ford. HMP Ford is a category D prison that houses around 544 patients, aged 21 plus. The role is suitable for a newly qualified psychologist (with preceptorship) or an experienced psychologist familiar with adult mental health presentations, neurodiversity and complex trauma. The applicant must be familiar with trauma-informed practice and trained in at least one trauma-specific intervention. The successful candidate will be part of the Integrated Mental Health Team and will contribute to the clinical leadership team supporting the development of the psychological therapies service.
2.5 days per week, 8am–4pm, with some flexibility in hours. There is an opportunity for this to be a full-time role if working split across 2 sites (2.5 days at Gatwick IRC).
This position is a part-time role offering up to £63,300 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
