Job summary

A profitable real estate firm in Greater London is seeking an experienced property lawyer to join its team. This role offers strong partnership prospects as a key partner is retiring soon, allowing the incoming lawyer to play a vital role. The position focuses primarily on commercial work and does not require an existing client following, although an entrepreneurial spirit is appreciated. Ideal candidates will have at least 6 years of post-qualification experience in property law, particularly in commercial matters.

• 6+ years post qualification experience in property law required.
• Experience in commercial property is preferred.

Outstanding partnership prospects as you'll be joining the practice just as a key partner is due to retire / step back over the next 12 months. Tons of work - mainly commercial (c80%), some residential but crucially and unlike the expectations put upon many senior level roles, you don't need a following. That's not to say that an entrepreneurial approach and a track record of generating work wouldn't be appreciated! In order to play assume a visible and vital role in a small firm, a business minded lawyer is a pre-requisite. Partnership prospects are very much on the cards in the short term. Role would be suitable for a 6+ pqe from a private practice background.
