This job description sets out the scope of the role of the Internal Project Manager / SaaS Product Release Manager at Wealth Dynamix. MainPurposeofRole

As a Project Manager / SaaS Product Release Manager, you will oversee the delivery of product initiatives across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will responsible for enforcing process discipline within the internal product team, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and scope are met. Unlike client-facing project managers, your focus will be internal execution excellence — driving alignment between engineering, product, and operations to ensure timely SaaS releases and continuous improvement in delivery practices.

This role requires a strong communicator and facilitator who thrives in a fast paced SaaS environment, balancing agility with rigor to deliver high-quality outcomes. On occasions you will be expected to take on smaller client facing roles in parallel to managing the internal product release deliverables.

MainResponsibilities

• DeliveryLeadership: Facilitate ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) for the SaaS product team.
• ReleaseManagement: Coordinate SaaS release cycles, project planning and milestone tracking, ensuring smooth deployments, quality assurance, and post-release validation.
• MilestoneTracking: Ensure product roadmaps are aligned with sprint deliverables and track progress against SaaS delivery milestones.
• Cross Functional Coordination: Work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations to ensure SaaS deployments are seamless and predictable.
• ProcessDiscipline:MaintainahighstandardofdeliveryrigortotheSaaSenvironment(continuousdelivery,CI/CDpipelines).
• Risk&IssueManagement:Identifyrisksearly,usestandardRIADlogmanagement,escalatewherenecessary,anddrivemitigationstrategies.
• InternalStakeholderReporting: Provide structured reporting to senior stakeholders (e.g., Head of Development, Head of Product) with clear progress updates.
• TeamManagement: Ensure timesheets are completed and approved weekly, maintain resource plans for the product team, monitor their utilisation and availability, flagging bottlenecks, overallocations or skills gaps, track and analyse planned versus actual work completed.
