As Senior Project Manager, you will take the lead on delivering high-end commercial fit-out projects, overseeing a team of Contract Managers managing multiple sites. You will be responsible for ensuring projects run seamlessly from pre-construction through to completion, maintaining programme, budget, quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining construction programmes against baselines for both internal and client reporting (using MS Project or similar).
- Overseeing all health & safety processes, ensuring robust compliance and safe systems of work.
- Working closely with the Commercial team to ensure integrated financial control and reporting.
- Leading, mentoring and managing a team of 3-5 Contract Managers to deliver projects successfully.
- Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
This role is based predominantly at the head office in Henley-on-Thames with regular travel to the London office and project sites across London and the Southeast.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum5 years’ experiencein Design & Build fit-out projects with solid construction knowledge.
- Strong track record managing commercial fit-out schemes, ideally including experience with luxury brands or high-end spaces.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts, specifically JCT.
- Excellent construction programming skills with proficiency in MS Project (or similar).
- CurrentCSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at Work certifications.
- Professional project management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
- IT literate (Word, Excel, and in-house construction software, e.g. Spirepath).
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a client-focused approach.
