Responsibilities
- Plan, specify and manage production of bid submissions, maintaining future opportunity/demand schedules. Work closely with sales & marketing to capture targeted customer‑funded business in line with forecasts and plans.
- Plan, specify and maintain projects in line with the strategic product roadmap, ensuring benefits align and including business‑case generation.
- Create baseline and forecast plans/schedules; specify and manage resources across identified projects.
- Develop a detailed Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependency (RAID) log for each project.
- Plan projects and monitor overall progress, managing risks, resolving issues and initiating corrective action to ensure delivery within agreed schedule, cost and performance, while maintaining required quality levels.
- Execute projects following L3Harris’ project‑management process, customizing based on project tier, following the project‑management plan and holding defined gate reviews.
- Produce project‑management reports in line with defined internal cadence and process.
- Monitor projects using Earned Value Management (EVM) to provide SPI and CPI values, where directed.
- Support commercial aspects of the project, including change control and adherence to terms.
- Financial management: support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) production of sales, invoicing and cash; accountable for revenue and gross‑margin achievement on standard orders, customer‑funded and IRAD projects; monitor expenditures and costs against delivered benefits; report financial data and forecasts.
- Lead customer interaction and relationship management for allocated projects.
- Manage project stakeholder community, including holding Integrated Project Team meetings with Operations, Suppliers, Finance and Customers, as appropriate.
- Contribute to executive/operations reports as requested.
Qualifications
- Ideally 5 years of project‑management experience covering schedule, scope, risk, opportunities, resource and financial management and reporting.
- Highly computer literate in MS Office and MS Project.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience leading teams and managing relationships at all business levels.
- Full project lifecycle experience, including practical and effective use of formal project and risk‑management tools and methodologies.
- Financial experience of reporting including sales revenue.
