A leading energy company in the UK is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee critical electrical infrastructure projects. This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, ensuring projects meet safety, budget, and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in project management and exceptional leadership skills. The position is based in Swindon and involves a mix of onsite and flexible working options.
Base Location: Swindon, Oxford, Slough or West London (Hayes).
Salary: £58,100 - £87,100 + performance‑related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available | Majority of your working week will be spent in‑person at office or site locations.
The role
SSEN is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team and support the Distribution ED2 price control period, delivering Net Zero‑enabling projects through the upgrade and replacement of our electricity network.
As part of the Large Capital Delivery team, the Senior Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary project teams in the design and execution of electrical infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget, while meeting the evolving needs of our customers.
