Job description

This is a fantastic role for an experienced Senior Project Manager to undertake project management duties for a private developer on major industrial schemes.

The position offers the chance to manage the full project lifecycle and client relationships across warehouse, factory, and associated road developments in Birmingham.

  • Industrial and logistics developments – factories, warehouses, access roads.
  • Representing the developer (client side).
  • Flexible working; office-based 4 days a week, with site visits as required.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage the delivery of industrial development projects from inception to completion.
  • Lead coordination between the client, design team, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide robust project governance, ensuring time, budget, and quality targets are met.
  • Oversee procurement, contract administration, and risk management.
  • Monitor progress on-site and resolve issues proactively.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Around 7+ years’ client project management experience is expected.
  • Industrial/warehouse development experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of working on behalf of developers or client-side.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
  • Degree qualified in construction/project management or related discipline.
  • Chartered (RICS, CIOB, APM) advantageous.
