Job description
Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team delivering both asset management services and project-related work for wind turbine portfolios across Northern Ireland. The role will focus on the effective management of wind asset management contracts, repowering EPC contracts, technical consultancy, and DNO compliance projects.

The position requires strong project leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. The successful candidate will act as the central point of the team, coordinating internal resources, external contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure assets operate efficiently, projects are delivered to the highest standards, and clients receive exceptional technical support.

Other linked services such as contract management, customer management, and process development will also be a part of the role.

Reporting to the Projects Director.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Service Delivery
  • Provide leadership, direction, and professional development to a team of project managers, asset managers, engineers, and support staff.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation across both asset management and project workstreams.
  • Drive a culture of collaboration, productivity, and continuous improvement within the team.
Asset Management Delivery
  • Oversee the delivery of asset management contracts, ensuring performance, compliance, and value optimisation

  • Manage contracts with asset owners, service providers, and landowners.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S, environmental, and regulatory requirements across the fleet.
Project & Consultancy Delivery
  • Provide leadership during the development and construction of replacement single‑site wind projects, from planning to reaccreditation.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and safety standards.
  • Deliver services to clients, including technical consultancy, DNO compliance requirements, and life‑extension projects.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support business development through the provision of high‑quality client engagement.
Strategic & Financial Management
  • Identify growth opportunities within both asset management and projects.
  • Contribute to company growth strategies through cross‑functional collaboration and thought leadership.
  • Represent the business in industry forums, client meetings, and regulatory discussions.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven track record in asset management and / or project management within the wind or wider renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years’ experience.
  • Strong background in wind or renewable fleets.
  • Familiarity with relevant compliance requirements and processes (DNO and OFGEM).
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience, communication, and contract management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of NI energy regulations, H&S, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., engineering, project management, or similar) desirable (or equivalent experience).
