This permanent role combines Mechanical and Electrical expertise, managing complex engineering projects from design through to commissioning. Qualifications

We’re supporting a leading organisation in the water sector to appoint a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer. This role suits someone delivery‑driven, commercially aware and confident managing design through to commissioning on complex engineering projects.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage construction programmes and key milestones
  • Lead collaborative planning with stakeholders
  • Prepare and assess tenders
  • Coordinate engineering teams and supply chain partners
  • Oversee daily site activity and resolve issues
  • Maintain the project risk register
  • Support cost planning and out‑turn cost monitoring
  • Drive innovation and improved working practices
  • Ensure full Health & Safety compliance
What You’ll Bring
  • Project Management experience
  • NEC3 contract experience
  • Degree in a construction / Engineering‑related discipline
  • Strong communication and client‑facing skills
