With the AMP8 cycle well underway and delivery intensifying, we are seeking a Senior Principal Process Engineer with extensive Water & Wastewater experience to drive major projects across the North. This pivotal role can be based in Warrington, Manchester, Leeds or Newcastle.
Serve as a key strategic advisor to clients, leading the technical execution of ground-breaking projects from inception through to construction. Guide Project Managers and ensure high-level execution that meets cost, schedule, and quality objectives. Mentor and develop the regional team of Process Engineers and nurture strong, collaborative relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering (or equivalent) and, ideally, Chartered Engineer status. Demonstrable experience in the water industry with technical mastery in key process skills: process calculations, mass balance, control philosophy, commissioning, HAZOPs, and P&ID development. Experience in a design and construction environment is beneficial. Strong leadership, communication, and staff management skills to translate client needs into actionable solutions and foster a culture of continuous learning.
